San Antonio Southwest Salad

I love southwest salads, but they are usually missing the seasoning so that they are not making my palate happy. I decided to try out Cowboy Spice Company's Sweet Heat on this one and - bam! I locked in the best salad ever!

Can of black beans
Can of corn
Head of lettuce
½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 c. ranch dressing mixed with 3 tsp Cowboy Spice Company Sweet Heat

Dice the lettuce, add the other ingredients and toss.

This was the best salad! It had that hint of Southwest taste to it that complemented all the ingredients. When the seasoning was added to the Ranch dressing it was so good that I am going to start using this for my sandwich spread! It had tang and hint of heat. The mix is pure and clean and no weird off taste or plastic synthetic taste like other spice mixes. You can smell and taste the fresh ground goodness.

This is a taste that I can get addicted to.

  1. The Sweet Heat added to the salad dressing made it so much better.

Herbed Chicken on Mashed Yams

Pretty easy but fancy meal with very complex exciting tastes. The lemon acid and the sweet yams mix well together. Cut up and peel one ...
