Hawaiian Rice


I like to use jasmine rice. One evening, when I was making a slow-cooker Hawaiian pork, I thought that I might sex up the rice a bit. 

Diced carrot, pineapple, celery and cilantro and added some dashes of soy sauce and hot sesame oil. That will be added to the steamed rice near the end of its cooking time.
